The award-winning architecture firm Plasma Studio, led by architect Ulla Hell, realised the modern new building in 2016 and the extensive renovation of Villa Rainer at the end of 2023. Through minimalist design, the use of high-quality materials, a balanced colour scheme, and loving attention to detail, spaces have been created that radiate calm and relaxation. The architecture combines contemporary aesthetics with the traditional Alpine landscape, creating a unique ambience that harmoniously blends modernity and nature.

Visit our favourite place, the Alpine Lounge, which is the heart of Villa Rainer and connects the two houses. It has comfortable seating that invites you to linger and socialise. There is also a small play area for the children and a range of information material about the area and possible activities. Our small but excellent library offers bookworms a wide selection of books for young and old.
With direct access to the garden, there is a seamless connection to nature, ideal for relaxing outdoors.

During the warm summer months, our guests have exclusive access to Villa Rainer's roof terrace. From here you can enjoy a breathtaking 360° view of the surrounding meadows, forests and the majestic Dolomites. Equipped with comfortable sun loungers, our terrace transforms into a peaceful refuge, perfect for sunbathing, delving into captivating reads, or simply taking in the breathtaking beauty of nature.
